Teaching basic Kiswahili to children and adults.

Elizabeth was born in Tanzania and moved to New York at 13, but always stayed rooted in her culture and language thanks to her Mother.

She loves living in New York, because of it’s diversity in people, culture and languages which made it even more comfortable for her to share her own.

As a Mom, she wants to instill those values to her daughter and niece because she knows and saw first hand the importance of it.

That’s why she created Swahili Little Speakers to help parents teach their kids Swahili.

She hopes these books, not only will they introduce Swahili to kids, but kids will feel confident, strong and special about who they are and where they come from.
